Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator position is an opportunity for a detail-oriented early career communicator to join a growing agency. This individual will support the coordination of communication and social media strategies for a variety of clients, including government, nonprofit and corporations.
Responsibilities include:
- Support coordination of meeting logistics, scheduling, creating agendas, and taking notes
- Attend meetings with stakeholders and provide notetaking support
- Ensure accuracy of information across several project management tools and trackers
- Coordinate and communicate project information to internal team members

- Assist UE teams in developing and implementing a communications strategies/campaigns
- Lead the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on the status of activities and accounts
- Support regular client communications to set and manage client expectations
- Maintain and build customer relationships by supporting a best in class client experience
- Assist in competitor research and analysis, development of personas and other research/analytical tasks and deliverables
- Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources
- Assist with quality assurance and testing
- Develop and edit content for blogs, social media and websites
- Provide content entry, management and proofing support
- Support operations, project management and strategy teams
- Maintain project files and project folders with documentation and deliverables
- Create monthly activity reports, and other regular reports, as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
- Solid account management and customer service experience
- Familiarity with communications techniques and technologies
- Ability to complete multiple projects and workstreams, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail and editing skills
- Outstanding organizational abilities
- Adaptable and curious
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications or marketing
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of communications strategies and tactics
- Experience using project management software and tools
- Prior communications agency experience
